hey man. we're new to the site. just checking out a few tracks. right now, i'm listening to 'Heart in Your Hands.'
you've got a good voice and i like the simple build and am curious where it will take me...it goes a little longer...ah, the destination.
i like the sound of your guitar, the warmth. do you use light strings and a thick pick? it kind of sounds like that. the pick is really loud, which is often the case of a thin pick. the tone of your guitar as i can gather here is really good. if you're not doing so already, i would suggest using light-medium strings. e-g are out of a light set and d-e are from a medium set. gives the sound a little more substance.
i'm not a fan of ballads, love songs, all that, so i can't give you anything constructive on that front.
overall, i enjoyed the tune. the recording was nice and balanced for a home studio style recording. maybe a bit too much on the reverb, but that's really more up to personal taste. it's definitely something to be pleased with. i enjoyed the track and wish much success in the future. check out our music any time! we'd love to get some reviews over here. if you get the chance to listen, i hope you enjoy the tracks as much i have enjoyed yous. thanks!
