PART OF THE ACOUSTICAL ALTERNATIVE NETWORK
Joshua RadinSat, Jan 26th, 2008 Prior to becoming a professional musician, Joshua Radin was a painter and screenwriter in New York. When the opportunity for an open mic show came up, Radin played the future hit song "Winter". Audiences that night were thrilled, and with encouragement from friends, Radin began to pursue a career in music. After releasing two full length independent albums, Radin is commonly compared to Nick Drake and Simon & Garfunkel. All of the attention landed Radin a deal with Columbia records, who professionally re-released his hit album "We Were Here". The song "Winter" was discovered by Radin's old college friend Zach Braff, who used the song in a very emotional scene on Scrubs. Read the full Joshua Radin biography on his website. In a recent interview with Richard Edwards of www.everywritersresource.com: Joshua Radin's entire "We Were Here" album can be heard on our streaming radio program.
