Vince Vaccaro

From Victoria, BC, Canada, comes one of the best acoustic rock musicians of all time. Vince Vaccaro is a small-time local band with a million-bucks potential. The band is named after the songwriter, guitarist and vocalist: Vince Vaccaro. Here is a quote from his MySpace:

“So you want to sing your heart out…clap clap…and shake your hair around. This is what I was made and put here to do. This is what I breathe day in and day out no matter where I am. I’m not sorry I feel a lot all the time; everything I do ends up in a song or in some lyric or piece of music. I write my memories with six strings, seventy-three keys, or whatever else is lying near me at the time. If you asked me to measure the success I’ve had, I’d tell you that labels are for jars and not people and what they love. My name is Vince Vaccaro, I don’t own a car, or a TV, I live in Victoria BC Canada and I play music. I sing all the time - sometimes in parkades late at night. I hope that the songs I’ve written inspire a few people to live for what’s in their heart and not for anything else. The power of your thoughts shapes much of what you are, so think up rather than down, change is good, and fear cripples most of us into becoming idle and old. Never stop playing. Vince.”

The calming “My Angels” is the acoustical highlight of the EP. While “Heart and Hands” still remains my personal favorite and in my opinion, the best song they have ever made. While every song on the EP is original and exciting, other magnificent songs include “Star Spinning”, “Halfway Home” and “Come On”.
