Joshua Radin is the genre-defining artist that deserves unlimited attention and praise. Only a few years ago, Josh decided to take up an open-mic opportunity in New York. He wanted to sign an original song, rather than a cover. For the purpose of his open-mic show, he wrote “Winter”, an amazingly “delicate and heartbreaking” hit single. The reaction to his music was sensational, and in turn he wrote his first album, “First Between 3rd and 4th”. After his college buddies Zach Braff and Cary Brothers urged him to pursue a musical career, he churned out hits like “Closer”, and released his first full length album: “WeWere Here”.

“We Were Here” was written by Radin after going through a break-up, and then falling in love in L.A., Radin states that “the record is a story about falling in and out of love and those moments in between.”

Radin emphasizes that his music is from the heart. He is not the kind of guy that writes “50 songs and chooses 11″ for an album. When inspiration arises, he writes each song one by one, completely from the heart.
